progress

so a lot has happened. I've finished the laputa dress and the kiki dress.

I forgot to order the jewel fabric, so I went to a glass shop and made it myself.

 

Here's the bodice and tie complete.

But its too big! so here it is pinned.

I didn't have time to take in the laputa dress, but I was able to size down the Kiki dress because i hadn't cut it out yet, so here it is. an example of sizing down. I went from a size 14 to a size 8 on the waist and a size 2 on the shoulders.
